You are in a twisted lip. You are on a lip of ledge, a little twist of ledge, before a deep pool.
The original Treasure Arcade was published as a free pdf e-book for National Poetry Day 2011, a day which fell near the 40th anniversary of Galaxy Game being installed at Stanford University in California. Each poem was built to a specific form, with one short line followed by three long lines. The second rhyme ended in a 'fuzzy' (consonant-based) rhyme with the first, the third a sense rhyme with the second, and the fourth (the 'boss' line) contained pure rhymes with all three preceding lines.
Super Treasure Arcade, an updated edition with new version of some poems, a visual design which utilised screencaps and drew influence from the subject matter, and two completely new poems, was printed in hard copy as a bonus extra for backers of the Coin Opera 2 kickstarter project who had pledged £18 or more.
The book isn't available for sale and has no ISBN number, but the individual pages are being published on an ad hoc bases on Jon's gaming Tumblr, You and Your Damned Games, Jon Stone.
Jon plans to further improve the poems and add to the sequence year on year.
